The goal of the Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Children’s program is to not only produce great martial artists but also great citizens and people. We want our parents to go over current events with their children and also engender a habit of public service and pursuit of the greater good.
What Crazy 88 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be doing for the next twelve months will be donating $100 each month to a charity of one child’s choice.
The only caveat I have with the program is that the charity be rated four stars by Charity Navigator, an organization which “works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health of over 5,300 of America’s largest charities.” This is just to ensure that the majority of the funds an organization receives is actually going to the causes it promotes.
